After searching the internet for hours following links for useful information I came across this very helpful tool for all web designers called Website Grader
you basically enter your URL of the domain you want to evaluate you can also enter your competitor’s sites to compare the competition. The results come in an easy to understand chart which any web designer can work from to improve the presence of your site in Google.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the key for turning any online business into a successful online business. SEO is the longest and most important process in Website design. If done correctly it can generate over 80% business increase by getting your Website to the top of search engines like Google which has 85% of the search engines competition.
At Smart Web Design we take SEO very seriously and are very knowledgeable when it comes to the SEO process.

(Please be aware when submitting a new Website the process can take a few months to fully settle into Google). There are ways to speed up the process which generally costs a lot of money e.g. by paying for advertising space on web related sites.

How Smart Web Design works when it comes to SEO is right at the beginning we sit down with our clients and look at the business and come up with certain keywords which are phrases that are typed into Google. Before we choose the right keywords.
